Little Candy
As a native speaker of Russian, I lack diminutive suffixes in English to describe something that’s really sweet and delicate. ‘Konfetka’ (eng: ‘Little Candy’) is what i would call this cute little ‘Chanel-esque’ cardi coat for a baby girl.
It’s decorated by a bow at the neck; I also added two small pockets that were cut through, they’re for candies and/or a hanky. Sleeves are rolled-up which allows a kid to keep wearing this jacket for some amount of time while growing up. The edges of the jacket, same as its pockets and sleeves, are decorated by strips crotcheted out of Lurex yarn.
The description and the pattern scheme are presented for girls 2,4,6,8 and 10 years old.
