Chilly days may call for a little “Cheerful Sweater”.

• Written in US terms.

• Size: 0 - 3 months.

• Any worsted weight yarn can be used with a size J hook.

• For sweater pictured I used less than 1 skein of Yarn Bee Rustic Romantic in Pumpkin Spice. (Worsted weight.

• 85% Acrylic/15% Hemp.) Size J hook.

• I usually like to use cotton blends when making baby items. This sweater looks darling when made with a cotton blend. The following yarns are several that I’ve used when making baby sweaters.

Yarns suggested: Caron Cotton Cakes, Lion Brand Cotton Ease, Baby Bee Hushabye or Bernat Baby Cakes. These are all cotton blend, worsted weight yarns. (ALL ONE COLOR) or (MAIN COLOR + ACCENT COLOR, if desired.)
Size J hook.

(To make size 3 - 6 months a K hook is suggested.)

4 Buttons.

Stitches used: DC, SC, CH, SS and 2DCTOG.
V - STITCH = DC, CH 1, DC.

PUFF STITCH (PS) = YO. Insert hook in stitch. YO. Draw loop through. Repeat from * to * 3 more times. YO. Draw through all 9 loops on hook.
