Little Christmas Angels
January 2024 update: I am working on revising all my patterns and my Ravelry shop, and so all my patterns are currently unavailable to download. They will be back soon, once they’ve been edited, corrected, and updated! Watch this space…
It’s not Christmas without a little angel or two flying around the house!
This pattern is free and always will be. Make as many as you like for yourself, your house, your friends, family, church, charity, presents, and anyone who needs a little angel!
These little angels take less than half an hour to knit up, and you can decorate them with lots of glittery thread, beads, and sequins.
Please note: this pattern has been test-knitted, and while I have thoroughly checked it, there may be some small errors. Please let me know if you find anything, and I will amend it!
YARNS, NEEDLES AND THE LIKE
Any kind of yarn will work in this pattern! The examples given on the Ravelry page are just that: examples. You will only need a few grams of yarn.
Suggested needles are anything that is a little bit smaller than recommended for your yarn: the angels look better if they are knitted on a slightly tight tension.
SIZES, MEASUREMENTS AND TENSION
Because of the variety of yarns and needles, the angels will be different sizes depending on what you choose. Most range between 5 and 10 cm.
Tension is not important for this pattern, as long as your fabric is a little bit tighter than normal.
If you knit this pattern, I’d love to see it! Share your WIPs and finished objects on Instagram with the hashtag #IIMSAWdesigns so I can see it!
