This little foxy (or wolf!) is worked in the round using single crochet. There’s lots of shaping but all using single crochet and chains but it may not be for absolute beginners.

This is a DOWNLOADABLE PATTERN in PDF format and you will need a pdf reader to understand it.

The pattern is written in English using US crochet terms and plenty of photos.

Using an aran/worsted weight yarn and a 3mm hook, the toy comes out about 17cm high.

I’ve included step by step instructions and photos of any tricky bits but there shouldn’t be any problems for an intermediate level crocheter and if there are any issues at all I’m happy to help.
