This pattern can be used to make a crow, a phoenix, or a peacock. The crow uses only worsted weight yarn, but the phoenix and the peacock use fun fur yarn in the tails for fluffiness.

With worsted weight yarn, I used a G hook, but you can use any hook and yarn combination as long as the resulting fabric is tight enough stuffing can’t escape. In worsted weight yarn, the finished birds are between 2-3” tall.
