Designed especially for little ones, this cosy double knit sweater features a textured pattern over the upper body and sleeves and loose styling for extra comfort.

The functional buttons along the left shoulder are practical and could also be a decorative touch. Each part of the sweater is worked flat from the bottom up, with stitches picked up from the cast off edges to create the neck and button bands.

You will need 100g (280m/306yds) DK yarn for the smallest size, up to 200g (560m/612yds) for the three middle sizes and up to 300g (840m/918yds) for the biggest size. I used Hayfield Bonus DK but other standard DK yarns should be fine - please check the yardage and tension carefully.
