Introducing you to Little Dorritt, her big sister and her Mummy! Reminiscent of the socks I used to wear as a child for school. A perfect pattern for using to make matching socks for different generations!!
A simple, lacy sock design in 3 sizes, toddler, child and adult.
Use a 4 ply/fingering weight yarn of your own choice, I used Brambles and me Ridge base for the adult sock and Woolyknit classic 4 ply for the 2 smaller sizes. you will need to allow 100g for the adult size but amounts will vary depending upon the sizes you make your socks.
The length of both the leg and foot can be adjusted by knitting fewer or more rounds.
These instructions are written for dpns but you could use magic loop if you preferred. Although I have endeavoured to make the pattern as instructive as possible, if you are a beginner sock knitter you may find it helpful to access the variety of online tutorials which are available or refer to your knitting manual of choice
