My pattern shows you how to make a Little Duck with a hat, scarf and bag. It’s very detailed with over 60 pictures to help you navigate the pattern through to the end. The pattern is written in English using American crochet terms.

I started writing my own crochet patterns back in 2009, and I would sell the finished items. My work became really popular, and I was unable to keep up with demand. So, I decided it was time to sell some of my patterns to enable people to make their very own little crochet lovelies.

For this pattern you will need :

You Will Need :
 2.5 mm and 3 mm Crochet Hook
 DK Yarn of you Choice for the Main Body and Head (Approx 25G)
 DK Yarn for Jumper (Approx. 10G optional)
 DK Yarn for Beak and Feet (Small amount)
 DK Yarn for Hat and Scarf (Approx. 10G)
 DK Yarn For Bag (Small amount)
 6mm Safety Eyes (Optional)
 Button for Bag
 Good Quality Toy Stuffing
 Black Embroidery Thread for Features plus extra for Eyes if not using Safety eyes.
 Scissors
 Embroidery Needle and Pins
 Stitch Markers
 Chalk or Blusher for the Little Ducks Cheeks

The size of the duck will vary, depending on the yarn used. If you use the same materials as me (DK) the finished size is approx 12cm. If you would like a bigger duck just increase your hook and yarn size - Aran weight yarn = 3mm Hook size. Equally if you want to make your duck smaller, then just decrease your yarn and hook size. 4Ply weight yarn = 2mm hook size.

The gauge is not important just make sure your crochet is tight enough, so the stuffing doesn’t show through.
