This is the PDF file for the pattern of the little Ernie (elephant).

The pattern is written in English using US crochet terminology. Instructions are easy to follow if you are familiar with basic crochet techniques and pictures are included.

Any wool/yarn/thread can be used, but the size of the finished doll will vary.

Approx. size of an elephant is

• 7cm (2.6inches) tall - using DMC Petra 5 and 1.0mm hook or
• 10cm (4inches) tall - using DK acrylic yarn and 2.0mm hook or
• 2cm (1inch) tall - using sewing thread and 0.4mm hook

Skill level: advanced beginner
you should know:
single crochet, slip stitch, increase, decrease, crochet in continuous spiral, crochet in rounds, magic ring, working in front and back loops and basic sewing.
