Little Fantail is a stylish little cloche which is knitted flat on 2 needles and seamed.

The band and fan are knitted first. The body of the hat is knitted bottom up, from picking up sts along the band.

It is a simple pattern and quite suitable for a beginner.

Any aran yarn can be used.
