Little Fountain Infinity Scarf
This cowl/scarf can be done in a variety of yarn weights, but I find it looks better using either a heather colored or solid colored yarn. It looks too busy with self-striping yarn. The stitch pattern is somewhat lacey over only 4 rows with a stitch pattern multiple of 4 +1.
The pattern will produce an infinity scarf approximately 49” long in both yarn weights. The width in the sock/fingering is 8”, and for the worsted weight approximately 7 ½” wide. If you want it longer, cast on more stitches in multiples of 4. If you want it smaller, cast on less stitches in multiples of 4.
For the purple scarf I used one skein of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock (430 yds) with size 3 circular needle about 29” long or whatever you feel comfortable with that will hold all your stitches without stretching.
For the green and pink scarf I used 1 skeins of Aslan Trends Invernal (295 yds) with size 8 circular needle about 29” long or whatever you feel comfortable with that will hold all your stitches without stretching.
