Do you know a little person who loves foxes? This could be just the hat for them!
This picture knit hat is worked flat and seamed for easy intarsia knitting. If you are a new knitter and not quite ready to work in intarsia this time, simply Swiss darn (duplicate stitch) the little robins onto your beanie after knitting.
This knitting pattern has instructions for the following sizes:
6-12 months 1-2 years 3-4 years 5-6 years
Choose any 4 Ply yarn that knits on 3.25mm (US3) needles to the tension listed below.

10cms/4 inches = 25-26sts
10cms/4 inches = 34-35 rows

You will need:
1 pair of 2.75mm (US2) single pointed knitting needles
1 pair of 3.25mm (US3) single pointed knitting needles
Darning/tapestry needle
Yarn used Bergere De France, Caline
Grey - 30gm - for the main background colour
Orange - 10gm - for the trim and fox
Light green 5gm - for the trim
White 5gm - for the fox’s tummy
Small amount of Black - for the fox’s eye and nose eye
