Little Girl Dolls
by Anne Dresow
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
The pattern includes instructions to knit 3 different “classic” girls dolls - a fairy, a mermaid and a princess. The pattern also includes instructions to make a “basic doll” that you can use as a starting point if you want to design your own doll. Lastly, the pattern includes instructions to knit little balls that can be used as “fillers” on a mobile.
The dolls are approx. 13 cm tall - a good size for a mobile. The dolls are mainly worked in the round - either on double pointed needles or on a long circular needle using the magic loop method. The dolls are worked on a size 2.5-3.0 mm (US size 2-2,5-3) needles to achieve the stated size. But you can make them with heavier yarn and bigger needles - then the dolls will just be a bit larger.
