Originally designed as quick, easy baby hats to work up and donate to charity, these little heart beanies can be whipped up fast, and do not require much yarn - they are lovely items to make to use up all those leftovers!

The pattern provides instructions for both ‘newborn’ size and ‘baby’ size beanies (please note: sizes are only a guide; individual head size may vary).

The only additional material required is a darning needle, with which to weave in the ends.

(If you have quite a tight crochet tension, I would suggest using a hook that is .5 mm larger, in order to obtain a similar gauge.)
