The Honeybee’s body is knit in the round, stripes with black and yellow. Wings are knit separately, and then sewn on body at end.

If knit with size 5 dpns and fingering yarn you will need about 5 yards of black and 5.5 yards of yellow. The wings are thicker, with sport weight yarn, and take about 5.7 yards of white or cream yarn.

(Gauge/weight of yarn does not really matter, as long as stuffing does not show.)
