Little Joe is a fun project for using up any leftover yarn you may have laying around. He weighs around 1 ¾ oz or 50 grams. His height is around 9 inches or 23 cm, for a smaller or larger amigurumi just use a different tension.

Little Joe would make a great gift, charity project or item to sell. He has a removable hat and scarf.

This pattern is designed for flatbed knitting machines. It was designed using a standard gauge, flatbed knitting machine (Brother KH-910). You should be able to use the pattern on other gauge size machines.

Approximate tension:

4” / 10 cm square = 40 sts x 60 rows (2.5 ply)
4” / 10 cm square = 34 sts x 50 rows (4 ply)
4” / 10 cm square = 27 sts x 38 rows (8 ply)
