I’ve knit mine in sport weight yarn, and it measured around 7-8” tall, which is delightfully small. But you can knit in whatever gauge you’d like and make yours bigger or smaller!

This is knit in the round, the body and head being knit as one piece and then all other elements knit separately and sewn on later. I also used a crochet hook to do the mane portion of the lion. The crochet hook isn’t strictly necessary, but it is much easier with one.

I have baby boy-girl cousins, and this pattern was done with them in mind.
