Little lace socks
In my opinion, these ‘Little lace socks’ are the ultimate summer combination: short socks in a lace pattern. It doesn’t get any better :). The lace pattern looks clever, but is very easy to knit. It consists of 1 round in lace stitch, followed by 4 rounds in stockinette stitch. So you don’t have to constantly check your pattern, as you will quickly memorize it. A nice, relaxing knitting project, even in warm weather. It’s also great for beginners!

A little extra: the pattern includes an attachment with a step-by-step description and photos showing how to close the toe of the socks using the Kitchener stitch. Do you prefer the regular band toe? No problem, this is also described by default in the pattern.

For DPNs and magic loop
This cuff down sock pattern (with shadow wrap short row heel) is suitable for both knitting with DPNs and magic loop. The instructions for these different types of needles are clearly indicated in the text.

Sizes
EU sizes 36-42
US sizes 4.5-10,5 (f)
UK sizes 3-8

Materials
This pattern is written for sock yarn with a gauge of 30 stitches X 42 rows (light fingering weight). If you use a fingering sock yarn (with a gauge of 28x40) the socks will be a little wider.

I wish you lots of knitting fun and many summer evenings with beautiful lace socks!
