Little leaf applique pattern is one size using dk yarn and 2.5 mm needles.

The finished leaf measures 8cm tall and 4 cm wide.

You could make the leaf bigger using the same pattern with bigger needles. I would suggest using up to 4mm needles for dk yarn and if you wanted to make your leaf bigger still then use 5, 6 or 7 mm needles with chunky yarn instead.

I have used stylecraft special dk yarn in shades spice, saffron, gold, sage, lipstick, meadow, mocha and walnut.

Only a small amount of yarn will be needed for each leaf. This is a great stash busting project.
