Pattern uses 1 or 2 (for striped) balls of Big Crocodile Snuggle Soft Yarn. You could try an alternative yarn designed to be knitted on 6mm needles but I cannot guarantee the success of the pattern if an alternative yarn is used.

Knitted flat - you will need to do a bit of sewing at the end
