Here is a fruity little knitting project … a Little Lemon. This makes a super bag charm or keyring charm, or use one as toy food for playtime.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the lemon is knitted in a few grammes of acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). This project only requires a few grammes of yarn, so is a super stash-buster to avoid waste.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes of yellow and green shades.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and toy filling or cotton wool balls to stuff.

SIZES
One size only - 6cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and a little seaming to finish.
