Overview

This project was inspired by vintage letterwinner sweaters, but redesigned for kids. A great way to show your school spirit! The pattern includes four sizes for one-year-old through four-year-old sizes.

Suggested Yarn/Notions

The project is knit with dk weight yarn. Sweater shown in the photo is knit with Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima. Other yarn suggestion is Malabrigo Rios.

Size 1: 440 yds main color, (MC) 20 yds contrasting color (CC)
Size 2: 500 yds MC, 20 yds CC
Size 3: 580 yds MC, 20 yds CC
Size 4: 660 yds MC, 20 yds CC

Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm) circular knitting needles. Size 6 (4.0 mm) straight or circular knitting needles

Gauge: 22 stitches and 32 rows per 4 inch square in stockinette stitch on larger needles.
