This little llama works up very quickly, standing about three inches tall. Gauge is not important, as long as no stuffing escapes.

You’ll need a small amount of yarn in whatever color you’d like your llama/alpaca to be, some stuffing, and either 6mm safety eyes or black thread or yarn to embroider eyes.

If you want to make your llama in a bulkier yarn than worsted, you’ll probably want to use larger safety eyes. If you make it with a thinner yarn, 6mm eyes will definitely be too big.
