This pretty cardigan combines knitting and crochet to create a pretty lacey cardigan to wear in the spring or on cool summer days.

A friend asked for a child size version of the adult Lovey Lacey Cardigan and I was only too happy to oblige. This is the same cardigan knit in dk weight yarn instead of the heavy yarn that I used for the adult sweater with adjustments in stitch counts to fit a little one. The same sleeve pattern and collar are used but the bottom edge has been shortened to create the right scale for a small body.

I used washable wool for the model shown but I think that this little cardigan will be just as pretty in acrylic or cotton. Use your imagination and make your little princess look like, well, a princess.
