I used to have a gorgeous, drapey crochet shawl back in college that I somehow lost track of. Since then, I have been dreaming about making a similar one. Susan Sheby, our resident pattern designer, has done just that and come up with this pattern. This is the ideal coverup for a cool summer night. The glint of sparkle also adds a little bit of fancy.
The pattern calls for 2 skeins of our Maharani silk yarn. It’s a simple crochet pattern that will just take a little bit of time to get the hang of before you’re a pro.

Row 5 should be replaced with this:
Row 5: ch 5 (ch 3+ch 2). dc in between 1st & 2nd dc. ch 2. V-stitch in 1-ch space, ch 2. V-stitch in 2-ch space, ch 2. V-stitch in 1-ch space, ch 2. Large V-stitch in center 2-ch space(center V-stitch made), ch 2. V-stitch in 1-ch space, ch 2. V-stitch in 2-ch space, ch 2. V-stitch in 1-ch space, ch 2. 1 dc in between last 2 dc’s. ch 2, 1 dc in 3rd st of ch-3. turn.
And Row 9 should be replaced with this:
