At the moment, Little Mary’s is by far my favorite jumpsuit. It’s fun to knit, comfortable to play in, both practical in the everyday life and quite festive. My inspiration for the cable pattern on the yoke and the half-long sleeves has been a charming jumpsuit with smocking, which I found in an old needlework book from the first half of the 19th century. You can knit Little Mary’s with ¾- or long sleeves and you can knit it with a loose or fixated collar. Throughout the instruction, you will find tips and explanations regarding the method.
