This pillow can be completed with pretty basic crochet skills, using mostly single crochet and double crochet. Even the star fish was way easier than I imagined. (It took about a whole 5 minutes to create on my first try!)

I believe it gives a fun Little Mermaid minimalist style without appearing too childish, making it great for nurseries, kids rooms, beach homes or even homes of adult Disney fans.

This fun throw pillow uses the shell stitch along with the soft seafoam green color of a mermaid fin and the purple of her shell top. I’ve affixed a small star fish to the front of the pillow as well to give it an extra ocean vibe. The back side of the pillow replaces purple with the deep red of Ariel’s hair!
