Little Octobaby
I worked up the pattern for this little guy to include a mini photo tutorial for the parts that may be confusing. There are options for eyelids, tentacle curliness, and decorations. You can really make a Little Octobaby that is pretty custom to your desires with this pattern and I hope you love it as much as i loved making it.
stitches used
ST- Stitch
CH- Chain
SL- Slip Stitch
SC- Single Crochet
HDC- Half Double crochet
DC- Double Crochet
INC- Increase (Put two ST in that one space)
DEC- decrease (Make 2 ST into one. Any DEC will work but I like an invisible amigurumi DEC)
REP- Repeat
Notes:
* I’ve included a photo tutorial for some parts of the pattern. If you don’t need it just print out pages 1 and 2. Save ink, and paper, and the planet.
Gauge is not important. Use a hook that is an appropriate size for your yarn to make nice snug Stitches so the Stuffing doesn’t show through. I am using a J hook and Aran weight yarn. A bigger or smaller yarn will lead to a bigger or smaller octobaby. Just adjust your hook accordingly to keep the spaces between the Stitches tight.
I also used 12mm safety eyes. But you could use buttons or something similar.
All the stitches and techniques listed are very easy to look up on youtube if you get stumped but its pretty straight forward
