This pattern set will instruct you on my how to crochet my original amigurumi Olympic gold medal.

Crochet skill level: Basic (requires knowledge of basic crochet terms). This crochet pattern is written in English with U.S. crochet terms. It is one page long and written in easy to follow directions. The gold medal is very easy and quick to work up. You can have your very own medal in just a few hours!

You should know these stitches: chain, single crochet, and how to make a magic ring.

This pattern will need the following material:
-Size F Crochet Hook
-Worsted weight yarn in 4 colors (gold, blue, red and white)
-(2) 9 mm black safety eye
-Embroidery floss in black
-Large tapestry needle
-Small sewing needle
-Fiberfill stuffing

A note about the strap: if you have small children that will play with this toy, please do not make the strap longer than 7”, as it will pose a choking hazard. Safety first! :)
