The material I use is Balinese cotton yarn made in Indonesia (DK yarn), with hook number 3. Feel free to chose the yarn type as you desire.

Finished size : 8 cm height & 7.5 cm width.

You need a scissor, blunt tip needle/ tapestry needle, hook no.3, 5 colors of cotton yarn in a few amounts, and 3 colors of cotton yarn as an additional to make a contour.

Gauge is not really necessary for this pattern.

ch (chain) | sc (single chain) | hdc (half double crochet) | dc (double crochet) | tc (treble crochet) | ss (slip stitch) | decrease (2 sc all together as 1 sc) | increase (2sc in the same stitch)
