This pattern is a baby version of a traditional gansey. There are no seams to sew. There is a faux side seam made by a purl stitch.

The pattern will look best knitted with a high twist yarn like Louet Gems Sport. If you are using another yarn, make sure it is one with good stitch definition.

This is a new pattern that a couple of people have tested. Please let me know if the pattern needs any corrections.
