This is designed to be a loose fitting top, so I have given a circumference measurement rather than a chest size. The finished size should naturally be somewhat bigger than the baby you intend to put in it!
The measurements are based on standard industry sizing for a 6 month old, but remember, all babies are different!

Approximately 75m (82 yds) White and 230m (251 yds) Blue DK yarn
(I used Malabrigo Arroyo in Natural and Azules, one skein of each was more than enough.)
4mm straight needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
2 15mm buttons
A pinch of toy stuffing or scrap yarn
