Little Prince Filet Blanket
This little prince blanket is a perfect welcome blanket for a newborn or young baby. It is a blanket that can easily be undertaken by beginners as there are no unusual or difficult stitches to master. The pattern contains written instructions with full stitch counts for every row, as well as a diagram chart.
The blanket is made using dk-weight yarn (US:light-worsted/AUS:8-ply) yarn. It uses chains, US-single crochet and US-double crochet stitches. I used 100% acrylic yarn (approx 310g/10.9oz) but it would also be lovely in a soft cotton yarn too. You will also need two crochet hooks in sizes 4.00mm (G/6) and 3.50mm, a yarn needle and scissors. The finished blanket measures approx 36in x 30in / 92cm x 76cm.
