This pattern is available with two different bow options and 4 different handle styles. Within two of the handle styles there are two options, thus it is really like having 6 different handle options.

By mixing the handle used and the bows used, you can make several different purses for various looks.

The pattern includes many step by step photographs as well as written instructions. There are links to videos that may help if you are not familiar with foundation stitches and I-Cords. There are other handle options that do not require the use of an I-Cord.

This pattern can adapt to other weights of yarn than specified in the pattern. It is a purse, so using a different weight of yarn without regard to gauge should produce a nice purse that is just a little different in finished size than that which the pattern was made from but it will still look pretty. You will adjust your hook size to the yarn weight you use.
