Created for my daughter as a little warmth for cooler Summer days. This pattern is very versatile, it can be done in cool cotton for Summer or a warmer merino or similar for Winter. It can be made in double knitting or Aran ( worsted )weight yarn.

It fits from a reborn or newborn to a toddler and can be customised to any length you want and makes an ideal Christening or Baptism cape if crocheted in ivory- even add a few pearls on the edge if you like:)

The shell pattern looks challenging but is actually easy once you get started. You just need to know how to chain,single crochet, double crochet and slip stitch.
