G/6 - 4.25mm hook

12 dc and 8 rows = 4 inch square

Special Instructions

Sc2tog: insert hook into next stitch as called for in your pattern; yarn over and pull up a loop (2 loops on hook). Insert hook into next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.

Dc2tog: yarn over and insert hook into next stitch. Yarn over and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through 2 loops (2 loops left on your hook). Now yarn over again and insert hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through 2 loops (3 loops left on your hook), now yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.

How to change the colour of yarn working in sc rounds: Start by making a sc as you would normally… insert hook, pull up a loop, there should be 2 loops on your hook, but now use the new colour to pull through both loops on hook. .

Ending round chains do not count as a stitch now or throughout the pattern unless specified. Do not slst into the chain, instead slst into the first sc, hdc or dc as called for in the pattern.
