Little RITA Jacket is my contribution to the joint collection “ISAGER Little Archives” and is inspired by Åse Lund Jensen’s knitting patterns from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Little Rita Jacket is inspired by the jacket “Pjusk”, which Åse designed in 1974 and is knitted in loop knit, with edges in woven knit and has a zip. Rita is a lovely light model and has many good features and details.

There are several instructional videos for the pattern.

The body of the jacket is worked back and forth from the bottom up to the armholes. Then the sleeves are worked in the round, after which the sleeves and body are joined for the yoke, which is worked with raglan decreases.
At the end both front edges and the collar are knitted on. then the zipper is installed and twill tape sewn along the back of the zipper.
