Little Robber Girl's 5 Cable Slouch Hat
It’s so hard to find the perfect hat! I think this one is close, at least for me. It has influences from Andersen’s The Snow Queen and the Little Robber Girl’s pet reindeer. This is a comfortably low slouchy beanie hat with five graduated antler cables in purl panels with easy, stacked decreases in stockinette panels. These cables are easy to handle and should be suitable for an adventurous beginner.
The original is 10” long and is made for an adult 23” head. For a larger size, you can knit the brim in the 5mm. For a smaller size, you can knit as shown and add elastic or a button to gather the brim. In the Round, Bottom up, so you can test size as you go.
: I used about half of a skein of the suggested yarn.
