This pattern took me some time to write out but I wanted to make sure I got it just right because it’s so cute! Lovely rosebud motifs make up this hat’s pattern and who doesn’t want rosebuds? <3

Size:
Adult - one size slouchy fit

Experience:
Beginner - Intermediate brioche experience with increases and decreases

Yarns:
Any DK weight yarn will do or a fun combination of DK for main color and Sport for contrast color
Between 220 - 250 yards used of both colors

Hat in photos was knit in:
Rohrspatz & Wollmeise: Wollmeise DK in Merlot
(maroon) and Feldmaus (brown)

Gauge:
In pattern, 16 stitches (8 brioche knit stitches and 8 brioche purl stitches) and 14 rows in a 3” x 4” swatch

Measurements:
Depth is 10” and 22” around at the brim (measurement taken after blocking)
