This little hat works up so quickly. I used stylecraft yarn, and you can easily make two hats from one skein.
Size newborn to 3 months although directions also include a Preemie size.

I use a joined round for guage. Four rounds of DC should be about 2 inches with a 3.75 mm hook (preemie hat) a 4.0 mm hook will be 2.25 inches.

Great for a super quick baby shower gift! Stitching in the HDC 3rd loop adds a nice effect to the gathering at the tie.
