The Little Rudolph Jumper pattern is written to suit babies and children from 6 months up to age 10. It’s a really fun challenge for experienced beginners to advanced crocheters.

I used Bendigo Woollen Mills cotton 8ply as my main color for our Australian summer Christmas time, but to obtain the colors I needed I use their luxury(wool) 8ply for the reindeer giving him a warm furry feel.
Any 8ply/light/dk weight yarn can be used for this pattern.

There are some basic colorwork techniques used for Rudolph’s face, colored bobble stitches and little hearts/seeds around the neck. In general, the unused color is floated intermittently behind your work, and the face color is not carried through the main color so that there is less tangling and no visible lines of contrasting colors through the front.

Single crochets (US) are used throughout the body and the sleeves are made up of half double crochets. You have the option of downloading the UK version of this pattern under the same listing but keep in mind this version only goes up to age 5.
