A sweet little set designed for Christmas but can be used for any occasion if knitted in different colours. I originally intended it to be knitted with a fur edge but have knitted loads of the jackets reversing the plain and fur yarns, as long as you use a dk weight yarn the instructions are the same. It can also be knitted in all plain yarn, so the pattern is very versatile with a little imagination.

The set comprises of a hooded jacket, a pair of dungarees, a dungaree top skirt and a pair of booties, all to fit a newborn baby or a reborn doll size 16 inch chest.

The instructions are clear and simple with lots of pictures of completed outfits. The stitches are simple too, made basically in stocking stitch, knit 1 put 1 rib and garter stitch (every row knit). The jacket is knitted in one piece to the armhole, saving on a little sewing up!

I use this pattern as a base for a lot of my knitted outfits.
