INTRODUCTION
This children’s raglan sweater, knit from the top down with three shades of soft, breathable DK weight cotton, will be a staple in your baby’s wardrobe all year round. The playful stripes in a combination of colors add a touch of whimsy. The raglan sleeves add a classic touch making it a keepsake that will be treasured for years to come.

SKILL LEVEL
Intermediate and beyond.
A couple of my testers were advanced beginners. You will need to use varying increase rates throughout the yoke of this sweater while also maintaining a stripe pattern. There is an accompanying spreadsheet that breaks it down row by row to make this really simple, but it may be too challenging for knitters new to sweaters/raglans.

NEEDLES

• Gauge Needles: US 6 {4.00 mm} 32″ (80 cm) & 16” {40 cm} circular needles.

Or size needed to match gauge.
Long cord like the 32” {80 cm} or DPNs for small circumference sections.

• Rib Needles: 1-2 sizes smaller than gauge needles. In the same cord lengths: 32” {80 cm} and 16” {40 cm}
