The phlebotomist’s shelf space had gorgeous little skeletons
and skulls dangling. I allowed as how I had been crocheting skulls
and how attractive hers were. We both giggled. I told her
I didn’t know what came over me this year,
but the skull was not a scary thing to me, and I enjoyed making them.
