Little Strawberry is a simple and fun toy to make as a gift or to decorate your house this summer. It’s knitted in the round with DPNs from the bottom up. It makes an easy first stranded color work pattern as you will only be using two colors and its just the red and green yarns. The “seeds” are actually added on later using a duplicate stitch so you can place as many or as few of them on your strawberry as you would like. If you are giving it to a baby or toddler, consider adding a small rattle to the inside.

You will be able to make several strawberries using the yarn suggested or go through your stash and make it with any worsted weight yarn! You can easily make your Little Strawberry with a DK, Sport, or Fingering weight yarn as well, just adjust your needle size down accordingly.
