The design of this little hat has come to me during long walks with my dogs in the nearby woodlands here in the west or Ireland. The pattern is very intuitive and easy to memorise and reminds me of the little fir trees we have growing around here.
This hat can be knit as a slouchy version in Sport weight yarn or as a more fitted version with a folded brim using Aran weight yarn. And you can of course experiment with the length of the brim or the fit.
