This is a somewhat complicated but ultimately satisfying project that uses a small amount of luxury laceweight yarn.

For my sample, I used one 50g skein of Chianti Sustainable Cashmere® (which is not in Ravelry) My project took 44g, but it could easily be made one–or even two–repeats shorter or longer, depending on your yarn supply.

Other yarns such as Cascade Alpaca Lace or silk/mohair blends would also work well for this project.

If your gauge is off by a stitch it’s not the end of the world.

Not for beginners • requires a lot of concentration!
