Little Wander Vest
DESCRIPTION
This is a unique patterned and textured all over, buttoned up kids’ vest. It is knitted in one piece using one solid (DK yarn) and one marled colour, made of two fingering yarns held together, or variegated DK yarn held single.
The colour combinations are endless and are a lot of fun to experiment with. The pattern stitches create a square pattern effect or vertical stripes effect depending on the yarn chosen. The vest is worked bottom up flat. Armhole ribbing is worked in a round. There is no seaming required. Three-needle bind off is used to join the shoulders.
This is one of those potato-chippy / addictive knits. It was inspired by Alice in Wonderland’s vibrant imagination, curiosity and kaleidoscope of colourful adventures.
The stitch pattern creates a yummy squishy, extra cosy and stylish layering piece for babies and kids, from new-born to 11 year old.
