This is a shawl made from a tab start. It has slip stitches to make the little windows. It used 1 ball of Malabrigo arroyo and about 60 yards of 2nd ball. Even though Malabrigo is listed as a sport yarn it knit well with the fingering yarn used as the contrasting color.

The contrasting colors used about 300 yards total. A gradient yarn would work well for the contrasting colors.
