Happy Halloween!!! It’s time for some seasonal fun here on Ravelry!

My friends have been going crazy over how cute this “Little Witch Hat” is in person! It ends up on their fingers, in their hair, on kids heads, atop stuffed animals and pumpkins, and candy corns… The fun is endless! Every face lights up when they see this “Little Witch Hat”… That’s how I know you and your kids, and your family and friends will love it, too!

For this quick pattern, mercerized cotton yarn holds it’s shape better than wool or acrylic yarns. I got great results with Plymouth Yarn’s Fantasy Naturale yarn.

This pattern is worked in the round with 4 double pointed needles or a 32” or 24” circular needle (for the Magic Loop method). * For best results work the pattern tightly. *

What you see:
Shown made with Plymouth Yarn’s Fantasy Naturale yarn 100% Mercerized Cotton in color #8990 black, using size 5 needles. But you can use any size yarn and needles you prefer.

How much yarn:
One “Little Witch Hat” uses about 2.5 yards of Plymouth Fantasy Naturale yarn using size US 5 (3.75mm) needles. Amounts needed will vary when other yarns and needles are used.

What you’ll need:
Knitting Needles: 4 DPNs (or 32” or 24” circular needle) 2 sizes smaller than what’s recommended
Yarn: Any green yarn of your choice. Shown using Plymouth Fantasy Naturale yarn - 100% Mercerized Cotton - on size US 5 (3.75mm) needles
Extras: A Yarn Needle

k, p, k2tog, k3tog
